First benefits and rights for employees

Move 1929

Melitta Bentz enforces that from now on all employees will be paid a Christmas bonus.

In 1932, the statutory annual leave was increased from six to 30 days within the company. In 1936, the 5-day week was introduced, and in 1938 the social fund "Melitta Aid" was founded. Employees are entitled to many special benefits, such as anniversary bonuses, subsidies for leisure groups and cultural events, as well as discounted company housing. Employees also have their own company health insurance fund, a company doctor and a dental practice at their disposal.
