A milestone birthday that makes us proud: For six decades, we have been enriching the enjoyment of coffee in German kitchens. A success story that begins with a pioneering spirit and continues to inspire today with innovation and passion for good coffee.

Skeptical looks and doubtful questions accompany our entry into electric coffee preparation in 1965. Eight cups of filter coffee in just six minutes, prepared by machine and still with the full aroma of the hand filter method? This sounds too good to be true for many coffee lovers. But our engineers and technicians experiment with passion and find a solution. We are one of the first suppliers in Germany to take the step into a new era of coffee preparation.

 

 

Coffee culture is changing

What began 60 years ago as a technical innovation has developed into a success story that continues to this day. Electric coffee preparation is not only changing the morning routine in German households, but also the coffee culture as a whole. Coffee becomes more accessible, preparation easier, and yet the quality that coffee connoisseurs appreciate is maintained.

 

Driven by the vision of combining perfect coffee enjoyment with everyday practicality, we have been finding new ways to improve the coffee experience over the decades. The focus is always on people: How can we make everyday life easier and at the same time provide moments of pleasure?

Color in the game

It is interesting to see how the zeitgeist of the past six decades is also reflected in coffee culture. In the 1960s, the focus was on practical functionality – the technology was intended to make everyday life easier. The 1970s then brought colour into play: bright yellow and orange conquered the kitchens and made coffee preparation a cheerful statement.

 

The 1980s are characterised by beige and brown tones, which blend harmoniously into the living trends of the time. Coffee preparation becomes part of a holistic living concept. Today, elegant black and high-quality materials dominate – timelessly beautiful and in keeping with modern lifestyles in which coffee has long been more than just a drink.

More than just a drink

In six decades, the importance of coffee in our society has changed. From a simple stimulant to a social ritual, from a quick sip in between to a consciously celebrated moment of pleasure. We are proud to accompany and help shape this development.
