The long-term success of the Melitta Group depends on people. On our own employees, on people along our supply chains, on the consumers who trust our products.
We are convinced that a company is only as strong as the people who support it. We therefore see diversity as a strength, regardless of age, gender, origin, cultural background or educational background. We want to give all employees the same opportunities for their professional development, and we are working specifically to bring more women into management positions.
We invest in training and further education and continuously develop occupational safety and health protection.
At our production sites, we set ourselves standards that often go beyond what is required by law. Prevention is more important to us than aftercare.
We see risks to human rights particularly in complex, internationally organized supply chains, especially in the coffee business. We therefore orient ourselves to recognized international standards, systematically review our supply chains and work with suppliers to improve standards instead of just demanding them. Where it makes sense, we are also involved in projects and partnerships in the countries of origin of our raw materials.
We want to offer products that are reliable, safe and durable. We see feedback from consumers as the basis for becoming better.
