fresh at work expands into the Spanish Market

Witten/Madrid. fresh at work is now bringing its services to Spain. The specialist in office coffee and water supply is thus expanding its presence in Europe and will soon offer its office coffee service to Spanish companies as well. fresh at work is part of the Melitta Group.

“Spain is a logical next step for us,” says Alexander Busse, Managing Director of fresh at work. “We see a clear and growing demand in offices and business centers there for reliable, high-quality coffee and water solutions. We want to make the workday more enjoyable for employees—while also taking the pressure off companies.”

To kick things off, fresh at work is relying on the latest-generation G300 coffee machine and two water dispenser models. Coffee and other supplies, such as powdered milk, are curated to satisfy a wide range of tastes.

When it comes to water dispensers, fresh at work is specifically tailored to the Spanish office environment. The company uses machines without a sparkling water function but with an additional hot water option. A preliminary market analysis showed that in the office, still water and hot water—for example, for tea or instant beverages—are more important than sparkling water. “We take a close look at what everyday office life looks like,” explains Alexander Busse. “Our offering is designed to fit in with that and noticeably simplify workflows.”

The business model is based on an all-inclusive package for customers: fresh at work provides the machines, delivers the coffee, and handles regular maintenance and service in the event of a malfunction.

“With our launch in Spain, we want to demonstrate that our service concept is equally compelling in other markets,” adds Alexander Busse. “We listen to what our local customers need and continue to develop our offerings step by step. In doing so, we think long-term—with the clear goal of being a reliable partner for modern work environments.”
