Smell, see, taste, understand: Discover recipe variations in the Espresso Sensory Lab / Focus on industries and regions / Caffè Corsini on board

09/26/2025

Milan. ‘Explore the World of Coffee Variety’ is Melitta Professional's motto at the Host trade fair in Milan. Visitors can expect an inspiring mix of international coffee trends, innovative technologies and unique coffee experiences. Solutions for selected industries around the world will be showcased. Guided taste tours will start in the Espresso Sensory Lab. New coffees will be brought to the stand in Milan by sister company Caffè Corsini from Tuscany.

‘Explore the World of Coffee Variety’ – Melitta Professional will be showcasing industry solutions for three regions at the Host trade fair: in North America for convenience stores and petrol stations, in Asia the focus will be on quick service restaurants, and in Europe solutions for bakeries will be on display. The journey through the regions illustrates how crucial it is to be able to support the industries in the out-of-home markets with tailor-made technical solutions, variable configurations and services.

Guided exploration

A guided exploration awaits guests in the Espresso Sensory Lab. The multi-sensory, interactive espresso experience shows how recipe parameters influence the taste and profile of an espresso during preparation. Visitors experience how the new Melitta® Cafina® CT8plus fully automatic coffee machine with four grinders can prepare not only authentic Italian espresso, but also modern, international recipes of the highest standard. ‘Guests experience and understand how recipe, extraction and sensory perception are interrelated. They can see, smell and taste – this enhances the taste experience and makes the sensory perception tangible,’ explains André Eiermann, Product Manager Coffee.
