Minden/Tokyo. Melitta Japan, one of the largest subsidiaries of the Melitta Group outside Germany, can look back on its 50th anniversary in 2024. Jero Bentz, Chief Corporate Manager of Melitta Group, Günther Klatt, Director Corporate Development, and Marco Gottschalk, Managing Director of Melitta Professional, did not miss the opportunity to personally congratulate the teams around Head of Organization Masayoshi Hattori in Tokyo (photo) and Osaka on the company's anniversary.  

Supporting pillar: solutions for the out-of-home market

Founded in 1974 in the capital, Melitta Japan is now represented by 130 employees at 5 locations. In addition to coffee machines, coffee filters and coffee accessories for end consumers, a pillar of success are Melitta Professional's solutions for coffee enjoyment in the out-of-home market. Be it in the gastronomy, hotel industry or even in the field of quick service and self-service, for example with system caterers and convenience shops who rely on fresh preparation, variety, and consistent top quality for coffee to stay or coffee to go. Here, Melitta Japan scores not only with professional fully automatic coffee machines, developed and produced in Minden, Germany, but also with its own technical customer service.
