In the heart of East Westphalia, located in the Wiehen Mountains and on the River Weser, lies the city of Minden. This is where the diversity of the Melitta Group is concentrated – in addition to our headquarters, the city is home to our coffee filter production and two other office sites, the Cofresco technical center, the Avoury® showroom and the production facility for our Melitta Professional fully automatic coffee machines. And our inventive spirit spreads from Minden to the whole world. Our various Melitta operating divisions and numerous sales companies located around the world are managed from our base in Minden. Feel free to take a look around. The coffee is on us.

OUR HEADQUARTERS

Marienstrasse

At our headquarters – Melitta Group Management – we coordinate the entire Melitta Group with all its operating divisions. Everything from corporate development, finance, human resources, communication, sustainability, innovation, digitalization and start-ups happens here. You’ll also find the headquarters of Melitta Single Portions here – and its brand for high-quality tea enjoyment, Avoury®, has sites in Artilleriestraße, Minden, as well as in Düsseldorf.

Ringstrasse

You’ll find a number of operating divisions under one roof here. The administration, product development and filter bag production of Melitta Europe - Coffee Preparation, the main base of Cofresco with administration, product development, and technical center for brands such as Toppits® and Swirl®, and the Melitta Business Service Center with its shared services for finance, controlling, global procurement, global IT and HR.

High-quality tea

ARTILLERIESTRASSE

Not only home to the modern office and meeting rooms of Melitta Single Portions, but also our Avoury® showroom. This is where you can experience the whole variety of our premium tea brand Avoury® – The Tea, immerse yourself in the world of tea and get an insight into the glass-walled production site.

Global Coffee Expertise

This is the main base of Melitta Professional Coffee Solutions with its administration and product development. Staff here are responsible for the Melitta Professional, Melitta® and Cafina® brands – with end-to-end coffee expertise: from the bean to coffee machines and customer service, to digital solutions and finance for our B2B partners in the out-of-home market. For our customers in more than 50 countries worldwide. Production of fully automatic coffee machines for the out-of-home market is located in the immediate vicinity of our Ringstrasse site, in Hermann-Schoppe-Strasse.

Our region

Living in Minden

That’s pretty good here. After all, there’s a lot to discover in the Ostwestfalen-Lippe region – one of the leading business locations in Germany. There’s affordable housing here. In the countryside, but centrally located with large cities not too far away. In your free time, you can enjoy a wide range of leisure activities. From sports to art and culture, to amusement parks and country walks, the possibilities are almost endless. Thanks to its strong economic base, good infrastructure and numerous universities, the region is sure to remain strong in the future.

Leisure activities

This is what the region has to offer

Interested in culture, history, nature, and city life? Then there’s no danger of getting bored in a region with some 170 museums on a wide range of topics. Our local theatre scene is also vibrant. As well as the theatre in Minden, there are others in Detmold, Paderborn and Bielefeld just around the corner – with something for the whole family. And then there are the stalactite caves and amusement parks to discover. The region also offers plenty of variety for nature lovers: the Weser Uplands end at Porta Westfalica, near Minden. This is where the monument to Kaiser Wilhelm I, clearly visible in the Wiehen Mountains, welcomes visitors to the North German Plain. Minden is located in the middle of the Mühlenkreis (windmill region) with hundreds of kilometers of hiking and cycling trails through our beautiful countryside. And you’re never far from the River Weser. There’s also plenty to do for children and young people – with a wide range of sports clubs and other regional projects such as the KulturScouts, a project for the cultural education of school classes.

To ensure that even the youngest feel comfortable and safe in the water, we offer water familiarisation courses for employees' children from the age of four. Older children of our employees can join the beginner's swimming course to get their Seahorse Swimming Badge.

Holiday camp for kids: during the summer holidays, employees’ children aged six to twelve can enjoy a week full of sports, games and fun. And it’s not just the kids who appreciate our wide range of childcare options.

DIRECTIONS

How to find us

The best way to reach our headquarters, Melitta Group Management in MARIENSTRASSE, is by car. We have plenty of free parking spaces here for you and your colleagues. If you prefer to use public transport, you can also come by bus – the Schachtschleuse stop is just under a 5-minute walk away.

The operating divisions Melitta Europe - Coffee Preparation, Cofresco, and Melitta Business Service Center are located in RINGSTRASSE and Melitta Single Portions is just opposite on the corner of Artilleriestrasse. You can easily get there by car and access the two large employee parking lots via Drabertstrasse and Melittastrasse. You can also use our visitor parking spaces directly to the right of the main entrance at Ringstrasse 99. And for those who prefer to take the bus: the Minden Campus stop is right outside our door.

Our site in the Minden suburb of DÜTZEN is a bit more rural. Coming by car is the best choice here. But here too, you have the option of taking the bus to work. It’s just a 400-meter walk from the Dützen Zechenstraße - Minden (Westf) stop to Melitta Professional Coffee Solutions.

And, of course, Minden has a railway station with connections to the main lines Ruhr - Hanover and Amsterdam - Hanover. From the train station you can reach all our Minden sites by bus.
