Career Entry at Wolf PVG

Cindy Fegel, 28 years old – purchasing department at Wolf PVG GmbH & Co. KG

Like most of the students, I wanted to find quickly an interesting and varied job with perspective after my master studies in economics. In order to facilitate my career entry and to gain practical experience, I went in quest of a work placement just before the end of my master‘s program. The name Melitta as one of the major branded good manufacturer is very well known to almost every consumer. As I was born in Minden, I also had the regional connection to the company. After a four-month internship in the purchasing department at Cofresco, I found the entrance into the Melitta Group.

Best Combination

As a recent graduate, I was offered the opportunity to start in the purchasing department at Wolf PVG. A medium-sized company, in a family-run corporate group as Wolf PVG, provides for me the best combination of a broad area of tasks with a high personal responsibility and flat hierarchies. For this reason, I was very happy about that chance and took up this exciting challenge.

One year later, I look back on an individual support, have the personal responsibility for several product groups and I work regularly on new, exiting topics.

Nach drei Jahren im Unternehmen habe ich die Chance erhalten die fachliche und personelle Verantwortung für den strategischen Einkauf von Wolf PVG in Spenge zu übernehmen.

Um meine neue Führungsverantwortung zu erfüllen, werden mir im Seminar „Führen bei Melitta“ die für Unternehmensgruppe besonders relevanten Führungskompetenzen vermittelt. Darüber hinaus kann ich mich im Rahmen dieser Veranstaltungsreihe mit anderen Kollegen aus der Unternehmensgruppe austauschen, die vor einer ähnlichen Herausforderung stehen.

Nach mittlerweile einigen Jahren bei Melitta, kann ich rückblickend sagen, dass ich durch die individuelle Förderung, die ich in der Melitta Gruppe erfahren habe, nicht nur einen gelungenen Berufseinstieg finden konnte, sondern auch die Möglichkeit erhalten habe, meine Karriere aktiv mitzugestalten."
