As a paper technologist you are responsible for the production and processing of paper and cardboard. You know the production process from the raw materials to the finished paper, you coordinate and manage the individual processes and monitor the paper machine throughout the whole production process. Quality checks are also part of your daily work.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
- Basic training in metal working
- Basic knowledge of electrical engineering
- Quality checks on paper pulp
- Extensive work with the paper machine
- Use of raw materials, semi-finished and auxiliary materials and their processing
- Technical college in Gernsbach in the Black Forest (block release)
WHAT YOU BRING WITH YOU
- Secondary school qualification
- Technical understanding and manual skills
- Good marks in the subjects maths, physics, chemistry and German
- Communication skills, flexibility, ability to work in a team and commitment
SALARY
- 1st year of training: 980,00 €
- 2nd year of training: 1.060,00 €
- 3rd year of training: 1.140,00 €
